Community Support
A portion of every purchase will be donated to the SickKids Foundation. As a family we have supported SickKids through personal donation, volunteering at Camp Ooch and participating in the annual run/walk Sporting Life 10K. We would like to continue to build on this support by donating a portion of every Bluebird purchase to the SickKids Foundation endeavours.
While living on a hobby farm outside of a small town, our family always supported relationships with the community. The best way to grow a community is to support each other every way we know how. That is why when we started this business, we did our best to reach out locally to see how members of our community could get involved with this endeavor. The objective of supporting local has always been a goal our family has strived to achieve. We want to introduce you to those individuals who believed in our vision. We are endlessly grateful for the generosity and kindness we have been shown to help make our dream a reality.
Our mom, Elizabeth, completes each embroidered name in-house. The attention to detail and care she shows each project gives us the confidence we need to ensure a high quality of service every time.
Anita is Bluebird Aprons’ photographer and a very special one at that. She showed passion for assisting us on this road towards creating a small business from the very beginning; this gave us the confidence to move forward and to create our brand.
All of the models you see on our social media and on this website are friends and family. When we started sharing our idea, we were met with such excitement and an incredible sense of belief, that we were overwhelmed with how keen our friends and family were to join us on this adventure.
